In the spring of 2023, Dansk Salt A/S started MVR capacity expansion of the factory in Assens by Mariager Fjord.
The expansion will increase the production of salt extracted from the underground by 40% The expansion also includes new technologies that will significantly reduce the carbon footprint, and in the long term by 100% This is done through climate-friendly electrification of salt and steam production.
Skanda A/S was chosen to participate based on a clear approach to a safe working environment, very high quality and environment as an integral part of the work. As well as orderliness, loyalty and dutifulness, which are all part of Skanda's core values.
Skanda carries out pipework and process installations in MONEL, stainless steel, black steel and PE - some of which are prefabricated in our own workshop, as well as on-site assembly. For all installations, there are requirements for full traceability and documentation. In addition, there are special requirements for material properties, which sometimes result in longer delivery times than usual. All tasks are carried out in close collaboration with Dansk Salt and NOBIAN, as well as other players who have been put on the team for the same reason.

As propriety, loyalty and dutifulness is a part of the ground values of Skanda - that fitted in the scope from Dansk Salt A/S.
Skanda execute and performs piping- and process installations in MONEL, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and PE - some parts were prefabricated in our workshop and mounted onsite, as other elements were built onsite from the beginning. For all installations, the demand is complete and full traceability by documentation. Furthermore, we have experienced longer times of delivery for several materials, as the ‘nature’ of on-stock components, not necessarily were the case. All assignments and project-elements are executed in close corporation with Dansk Salt A/S & NOBIAN, as additional actors were put on the team on the same basis 🤝
