SKANDA A/S is an innovative forging and industrial company
The company serves customers throughout the country from its head office in Dania, the department at Prøvestenen (Copenhagen) and the workshop in Aarhus. Skanda A/S serves customers both at home and abroad.

Skanda A/S has a strong team of employees, including well-trained certified welders for all common materials and welds. The company specialises in pipework and steel structures in a wide range of industries.
Skanda A/S's senior employees have built up 20 years of experience in development, design and installation in the following areas, among others:

The story
The company expanded back in 1994, when the department at Prøvestenen in Copenhagen was established. Over the years, the number of managers, employees and, not least, orders has grown to cover pipework and steel structures in a wide range of industries both in Denmark and abroad.
SKANDA is an experienced welding and forging company with over 30 years of specialisation in tank, pipe and steel work at tank farms, terminals and refineries. We work with high-risk organisations and therefore always focus on high safety and quality.

Safety & environment
Skanda A/S works continuously with workplace assessments (APV). At each health and safety committee meeting (four times a year), the action plan is reviewed and action plan items, follow-up dates, etc. are followed up. The workplace assessment is carried out when new workplaces are created, when new employees are hired after six months and at least every three years. At safety meetings, the company's sickness absence is compared to the workplace assessment. It is assessed whether there may be a correlation between employees' actual absence and work.

Quality control
At Skanda A/S, quality is not just about inspections and certificates. It is also very much a matter of attitude and training among employees, right down to the very last level of the organisation.
Skanda A/S’ quality handbook describes the guidelines that management and employees must follow. Quality assurance begins when the order is placed, where the customer and Skanda's representative agree on the scope of work. If necessary, an order start document (OSD) is completed to ensure a common understanding between the customer, seller, purchasing and the executing employee.
Upon handover, a handover document (AD) is completed as proof that the job has been completed. Skanda A/S has experienced certified welders in steel, stainless steel and aluminium who continuously update their approvals through supplementary training.
Quality assurance
Ensuring correct and consistent quality is a top priority for us as a supplier and an absolute requirement from most of our customers. SKANDA therefore has a fully-fledged quality management system and is:
- DIN/EN/ISO 3834 certified for welding execution.
- DS/EN1090 certified for the execution of steel structures.
