Industry service & maintenance

Innovative solutions for the energy industry - Turnkey projects and industrial services. Skanda A/S specialises in tank, pipe and process systems for industrial plants. We offer all forms of cooperation, from turnkey and turnkey contracts to specialised tasks and industrial service.

Typical tasks are:

Pipes and hoses

  • Inspection, service and refurbishment of valves and pumps
  • Valves and pumps are lubricated and checked according to maintenance procedures
  • Tightness and pressure testing of pipework and valve systems
  • Tightness and pressure testing of hoses (incl. documentation)
  • Bunker hoses, delivery hoses, STS hoses etc.
  • Ultrasonic residual thickness measurement on pipes/piping systems (at critical points)
  • Visual inspection of surface treatment on pipes and supports etc.
  • Checking and servicing mechanical equipment and components

Refuelling

  • Full tank inspection (not EEMUA), including random checks for residual thickness and corrosion.
  • Visual inspection of tank-mounted equipment
  • Ultrasonic residual thickness measurement on tanks - Bottom, wrap and top
  • Visual inspection of rust protection and paint on tanks.
  • ”Holiday” test on tank coating inside and outside (via partner)
  • Checking and servicing pressure/vacuum valves.

Other service and maintenance

  • Checking and servicing carbon filters
  • Checking and servicing flame traps
  • Control and service of product infeed/outfeed systems
  • Loading points for trucks and ships, including breakaway couplings, import valves, loading arms, etc.
  • Visual/mechanical control of colour systems
  • Condition assessment of equipment on the entire tank farm
  • Visual inspection of rust protection on stairs, walkways, etc.
  • Visual inspection of the condition of tank farm walls and foundations including joints and tendon steel.

Other

  • After completion of each inspection and service, a service report is prepared for the condition of the system and any repair proposals
  • Frequency and scope of checks and service visits are agreed individually
  • Estimates for service and possible repairs.
  • Service agreement is drawn up
  • Fixed price or in bill + materials
